BC is a travel booking — here's what that means
All Northern Lights Express events in BC originate from our Alberta base. Travel is factored into your quote transparently — the price you see is the price you pay, with no fees added after booking. Because of the logistics involved, BC dates require earlier booking than Alberta events. We recommend reaching out 8–12 weeks ahead for most BC bookings, and earlier for peak Okanagan harvest season (August–October) or summer festival season in the Lower Mainland.

What is included in a trackless train rental in BC?
Every BC booking includes a professional operator, delivery from Alberta, full setup and teardown at your venue, pre-event route consultation, and commercial liability insurance. All travel costs are included transparently in your quote — no surprises after booking.
How does booking work for BC events?
Contact us with your event date, venue location (city and address), expected guest count, and duration. We respond with a custom quote within one business day. BC bookings require earlier lead times than Alberta events — 8 to 12 weeks is ideal for most dates.
What BC areas do you serve?
We serve Metro Vancouver, the Okanagan (Kelowna, Penticton, Vernon, Oliver), the BC Interior (Kamloops, Merritt), and select Vancouver Island bookings depending on logistics. Contact us with your location and we'll confirm availability.

How far in advance should I book a BC event?
8 to 12 weeks ahead is strongly recommended for BC events. Summer and harvest season bookings (July through October, especially in the Okanagan) fill the earliest. Contact us as soon as your date is confirmed.
How does the train handle BC coastal weather?
Light rain is fine — we operate. For heavy rain or high wind, we confirm a go/no-go early on event day. For coastal BC events where weather is less predictable, we recommend discussing a contingency plan at booking. We are transparent about our policies upfront.
Is it safe for kids and seniors?
Yes. The train operates at a slow, controlled speed with a trained operator on-site throughout. It's designed for all ages — toddlers through seniors ride comfortably.
